Letting Policies
PRICE
The prices fixed for the stays are weekly prices (Saturday to Saturday). Towels and linen sometimes are included in the price, sometimes not: it depends on the house. Please have a close look. The same arrangements for gas, water, electricity and final cleaning. The heating is not included in the price.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
A payment (deposit) of a third or 30% is to be made at the time of the booking. The deposit must be versed within the week.
The balance is paid to the owner (in cash!!) at the time of your arrival.
Payment of the deposit is done by payment on the Belgian bank account (bank FORTIS) of the Agenzia (Bernard Huyvaert).
After receipt of the payment of the deposit the holidaymaker will be sent full contact details for the property owner or his representative and instructions as to how and when to arrive. A voucher is sent to the customer.
CANCELLATION
When a booking is cancelled, the following expenses are carried in account:
- 30% if the cancellation takes place more than 50 days before the date of the arrival.
- 50% if the cancellation takes place between 50 and 30 days before the date of the arrival.
- 90% if the cancellation takes place in less than 30 days before the date of the arrival.
We strongly advise all tenants to consider insurance needs in relation to travel, accident, medical and personal cover.
GUARANTEE
A security deposit must be paid to the owner or his representative. Such amount will be refunded at the end of the holiday less any deduction made for damage caused to the property or for any additional costs that were not included in the letting price.
DEPARTURE AND ARRIVALS
Holidaymakers must arrive between 4.00 and 8.00 p.m. on the day of arrival unless another time has been stipulated in their correspondence with us.
Holidaymakers must vacate the premises by 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure.
KEYS
In the house you rent (you get the address), except mentioned differently.
EXTERNAL MAINTENANCE
The owner or his representative reserve the right to have free access to the property for essential maintenance purposes (garden, swimming pool etc.).
FAILURE
Only the owner of the house is responsible for the failures at the house you rent; we control the dwellings twice a year.
