L’Armonia, a fine house which has been recently refurbished, is located in Barbaruta, which is only 18 km far from Castiglione della Pescaia and the sea. The owners lived once in Florence but, when they got the chance they bought this old farm house and now they live here.
Quietness is the main feature of the place, which has a beautiful view on the nearby hills on which you can see the characteristic villages of Buriano and Vetulonia.
From May to September, the owners are often away for work and, especially in July and August, they are almost never there, therefore the guests’ privacy is guaranteed!
The owners live on the ground floor. The flat Armonia is on the first floor.
Begin 2008 a swimming pool is built (5x10m.)

A Tuscan terracotta-tiled staircase leads to the kitchen which is finely furnished and which has a fridge, a freezer, an oven and all the cooking utensils. From the kitchen you get into an access corridor which leads to the two bedrooms (a double one with a sofa bed too, and one with twin beds). The two bathrooms are very elegant and both with a shower. One of them is inside the bedroom with twin beds.

All the rooms are furnished with period furniture. Good taste characterises the place.
The garden is fenced, so you can park your car there. The owners allows guests to bring their dogs but they cannot be left alone inside.
The garden has a pergola, a few meters from the house, which is very beautiful during the period from May to September and where you can sit in the open air and have breakfast or dinner. Near the pergola there is also a barbecue.
