Il Teso (Valdichiana)

The town of Monte San Savino, the the birthplace of the Renaissance architect and sculptor “Sansovino”, is situated in the area between Arezzo and Siena, in a part of Tuscany that most tourists have not discovered yet. The winding roads of the area lead to the discovery of medieval hamlets, like Lucignano with its ancient walls and churches, incredible castles, like the “Castello di Gargonza”, (today a well-known congress centre), or spas like Rapolano Terme. The towns of Arezzo and Siena, which are always worth a one-day-excursion, are easily reachable.

The house is situated at a few kilometres from the exit of the A1 highway, inside a rural hamlet in a very quiet location. The part of the country house that is rented to guests immediately has a peaceful and “cosy” atmosphere through the very special colours of its interior walls and furniture.

In the large garden, surrounded by olive trees, there is a swimming pool of 12 x 6 m. The pool is open from 15 May to 30 September. Adequate parking is available on the property.

Marciano della Chiana is at 2 km, Monte San Savino with a large commercial centre is at 4 km, Arezzo is at 35 km, Siena at 50 km, and Florence is at 80 km.

Sport:

• Golf in Bettolle at 20 km.
• Acquapark in Marciano at 2 km
• Horseback riding in Civitella della Chiana at 10 km

The part of the rural house for rent extends over two floors:

Ground Floor: private entrance from the garden, spacious living room with fireplace and 2 single sofa beds, kitchen with 4 ring hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, bathroom with shower.

First floor: 2 double rooms, one of which with private bathroom with bathtub, 1 twin-bedded room, 1 single room with additional single bed, bathroom with shower and washing machine.

Sat-TV and CD-stereo-system.

Internet access in the landlord's home.
