Casa Matilde is a lovely rural house dating back to 1200, situated at the border of the village of Mercatale Val di Pesa, immersed in the green of the vineyards that characterize the Tuscan countryside

Mercatale is a typical small Tuscan village, reachable through winding narrow roads connecting the main wine towns: San Casciano towards West, Greve and Panzano in the East and Tavarnelle in the South. The roads are panoramic itineraries allowing you to discover the hamlets, the farms and the ancient abbeys spread through the world-famous landscape.

From the rural house, the centre of the village where there is a bank, a pharmacy, a small supermarket and various shops and restaurants can be reached on foot. In the evening, one can take a walk to the village and stop by the little street cafés in order to have a tasty ice cream.

The city of Florence is at a distance of 23 km, Siena at 45 km. San Casciano is 5 km away and Greve about 10 km.

The recently restored rural house has been divided into three apartments, furnished with much care and taste. It has maintained its typical rural ambience, warm and welcoming. On the outside, a nice garden with barbecue and a furnished terrace with tables and chairs are at disposal of the guests.

Ground floor: living room with kitchenette (2-ring hob, fridge) and double sofa bed, double bedroom, bathroom with shower.

First floor: Twin bedroom, bathroom with shower, stairs: double bedroom, bathroom with shower, living room with kitchenette (2 electric plates, fridge).
